Release of Information (Healthcare) Specialist
RCM Staff ™ BPO is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Release of Information (ROI) and Data Verification Associate to join our healthcare support team. This entry-level role is responsible for processing medical record requests, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations, and supporting data anonymization and verification tasks to maintain patient confidentiality and data accuracy.

Responsibilities
- Process incoming requests for patient medical records and other protected health information (PHI).
- Verify authorization forms and ensure requestor identity before releasing information.
- Prepare and release medical records through secure systems in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
- Document all requests and releases accurately in the tracking system.
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and third-party requestors.
Skills/Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience in US Healthcare services.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Health Information Management or related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient with computers; experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
