Onboarding
How does onboarding work?

We start with a discovery and workflow review to understand your specialty, payer mix, systems, staffing need, and task priorities. From there, we match the appropriate RCM specialist, coordinate onboarding and access, review your SOPs, and prepare the staff member for go-live inside your workflow.

How fast can we start?

Most engagements target go-live within about 7 days after agreement, workflow alignment, and access coordination. Timing may vary depending on role complexity, client system access, payer portal requirements, and onboarding needs.

What happens if the assigned staff member is not a fit?

If there is a role-fit or performance concern, we review the issue, clarify expectations, provide coaching where appropriate, and work on a replacement or reassignment path if needed. The goal is to protect continuity while keeping the engagement aligned with your workflow needs.

How do you handle HIPAA and patient information?

RCM Staff™ follows HIPAA-conscious workflows and trains staff on confidentiality, secure handling of protected health information, access control, and client-specific compliance expectations. Staff are expected to work only through approved systems and follow the client's security and privacy requirements.

Do you sign Business Associate Agreements?

Yes. When applicable, RCM Staff™ can enter into a Business Associate Agreement with covered entities or business associates that require one as part of the engagement.

Pricing & Engagement
Do you charge a percentage of collections or per claim?

No. RCM Staff™ uses a per-FTE staffing model. We do not charge a percentage of collections, a percentage of payments posted, or per-claim fees. This keeps pricing predictable and aligned with staffing capacity rather than claim volume.

Is there a long-term contract required?

No long-term contract is required for most engagements. We aim to provide flexible staffing arrangements that align with your operational needs. Our preference is for the engagement to continue because it is performing well, not because you are locked in.

How is pricing structured?

Pricing is based on a per-FTE model tied to the role, schedule, and scope of work. We do not use percentage-of-collections pricing or per-claim billing. Specific rates are discussed during the discovery call once we understand your staffing needs and engagement structure.
